**Ladies night of live music at Santos Party House NYC**
The Pack A.D., Cherie Lily, May Lane and Tayisha Busay Thursday April 23, 2009 at 7:00pm at Santos Party House 96 Lafayette New York, New York 10013
THE PACK AD The only band on MINT Records to blow the roof off of the Crossroads. In their dreams. A no-holds barred garage-rock-blues cage match played out between two dynamic young women from East Van. — the East side of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, where the likelihood of graduating into a criminal record is more likely than the honour roll — is where all the good bands in town come from or live in. There are a lot of gas stations there. From the Far North to South America and some really excellent benders through the EU, they pack ‘em to the front of the stage when they kick into a groove. Don’t miss this band when they roar into your town. Hint: Keep this music-making machine in steady brew and it will bring you much sonic love.
CHERIE LILY You are very lucky to be on Cherie Lily’s good side. Rarely ever has a New Yorker set foot in so many different worlds and razed them so completely. Her precision vocal meshes with the multitude of genres that consist her repertoire – from alternative rock to electro to house. She is the inventor of Houserobics, which combines dance floor sensibilities with whooping your ass into shape. She kick boxes too, so just try to cross…(seriously, she’s very nice.)
TAYISHA BUSAY There is still beauty. Tayisha Busay are a trio of electro divas whose groundbreaking and experimental brand of dance music with provocative and funny lyrics.
MAY LANE New York City may be a hard place from an indie outlaw country singer like May Lane, but she rises to the occasion with incredible songs and a velvety voice.
